About My Company

Where do I start .... I love working with leather.
The smell, the feel, the look, the old school kind of feeling you get when you work with it. Knowing so many before have made things that were treasured by people before all the plastic and production became the norm.
The sound and feel of the tooling when you tool the leather, thunk.thunk.thunk... I'm sure it's like the sound a baseball player hears, and the feeling he feels through the bat when he hits a home run.
The feeling of the finished tooling under your hand as you hand rub wax onto it to keep it conditioned and cared for.
It started with a cuff that I made in Boy Scouts. I loved that piece with my name stamped into it.

Fast Forward 30 years ...
I was working at Harley Davidson and wanted a seat for my bike, and decided to try my hand at making my own and
 F8customs was born.

It's been 12 years and I still love working with leather and keeping the craft alive.

It's a trade that I have been proud to say I'm a part of.

Thank you for visiting me and my work.
